All NightSun4x4 lights are covered by a limited Lifetime warranty to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.
Our warranty covers LED failure and defects in material and workmanship.
NightSun reserves the right to either repair or replace such items once it has been inspected and determined that the failure has not been caused by abuse, modifications, or improper installation. If the light has been disassembled for any reason the warranty will be voided.
What is not covered:
- Inadequate mounting or installation damage, alteration, modification, misuse or failure to maintain
- Damage in any part attributable to vehicle systems or components or combination with non NightSun products
- Normal wear and tear/product deterioration
- Corrosion or deterioration of paint or finish
- Acts of God, accidents, impact by rocks, trees, obstacles or other aspects of the use environment
- Theft, vandalism or other negligent or intentional damage
Before you start the warranty process check all the connections and plugs. Make sure there is nothing that is preventing a good connection to the light. Low voltage will make a light flash, flicker or partially turn on. Check the wire size to make sure it is correct. If we get lights back that work fine, these lights will be sent back to the customer at the customers expense. Check all your connections before sending a light back. NightSun will bench test the light to make sure it is not an issue with your vehicle.
The process for warranty repair/replacement is as follows:
Login to your account, view the order under the My Account menu and click on "Add Request" and give details about the warranty request including the order number. It is also helpful if you add pictures and details
NightSun will then email you a RMA number that MUST be on the return box.
Please include the following information with your light:
- Complete contact information including phone number
- The problem that is occurring with your light
- RMA number

Once the light has been inspected, NightSun will determine if the product can be repaired or if it will be replaced. We will then return your item to you. Prepaid by NightSun.
We cannot send replacement lights to you before receiving your light back.
Absolutely no warranty item will be shipped before the return item is received.
You may return most new unopened items within 30 days for a full refund. NightSun will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.
Special Orders will not receive a refund.
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of our receipt. This time period includes the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Some customers may only have one shipping option based on their location.
Please also note that the shipping rates for most items we sell are weight-based.
The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page.
To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
