It’s been an amazing week as we traveled the the west coast to attend the annual King of the Hammers competition. The weather was interesting to say the least with ice on the cars in the morning and comfortable temps in the 50s by mid afternoon. Getting up close to the racing like you’re able to do in the desert was something you rarely get to experience. We were so close to the first running of the T1 Trophy Trucks that they were actually throwing dirt onto us as they passed. We got to see the very first Savvy prepared Jeep Gladiator compete (and finish) the Every Man Challenge and watched Savvy Offroad take 9th in the 4400 class. A special thank you to Gerald Lee and the entire Savvy Racing Team for making us feel so at home and like we were part of the team. It’s back to the east coast tomorrow but we’re already looking forward to our next trip to the King of the Hammers.
